Name of the Department- OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY

About the Department- The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology is one of the busiest department in ESIC MC & Hospital Alwar, providing round the clock 24-hour Obstetrics & Gynaecology emergency services. The Department caters to High-Risk Obstetric cases.
It also provides comprehensive medical care for safe motherhood including complete antenatal, intranatal normal and operative deliveries and post-natal services. All Obstetrics & Gynecologic Surgery including endoscopic surgeries as Total laparoscopic hysterectomy, fertility sparing surgeries are being done. Diagnosis and treatment of infertility including ovulation induction & follicular monitoring is done. Gynae-cancer screening is done including Pap smear, VIA and VILI

The department provides tertiary care services to all attending ESI as well as non ESI beneficiaries and also to all referred patients from other ESI hospitals. 
The OBG Department has bed strength of 45 beds.

1. Routine and High risk ante natal & Post natal OPD services
2. Routine Gynaecological OPD services
3. Special Clinics: Infertility, Gynaecological endocrinology, Adolescent, Menopausal, Cancer Detection, Postnatal Clinic
4. Outpatient Procedures: Endometrial Biopsies, PAP smear, Stitch removal, IUCD removal, HSG, USG
5. In patient Management of low risk and high risk obstetrics cases and gynaecology cases 
6. Functional Obstetric HDU
7. 24x7 labour and delivery services (including operative vaginal deliveries and cesarean section)
8. 24x7 Emergency Gynaecology services (including emergency surgical procedures)
9. Elective Gynecological Surgeries - including diagnostic & operative laproscopy & hysteroscopy , urogynaecological surgeries
10. Routine Obstetric Ultrasound
